Just finished up my latest piece ..a commission on a 15x20 watercolor paper, in pen & ink in pointillism.
This piece was a real challenge.reason being I usually work with a 00(.30) koh-i-noor pen.But my luck she hit the floor ..cap off  So my next choice were the pens I been saving for who knows what( really fear as they are tempermental),6x0(.13) & 4x0(.18). These pens produce the smallest dott..so buildilng up the various greys & blending them were maddening. Worked on this piece day & night(can't recall how many days or hours)quitting when the migrains got too bad. Hope you enjoy.. me I'm off to take some meds & a nap. I've included a detail photo of the pilot-canopy area compared to a 2 center meter candy to show you the dott & maddening detail. Later y'all. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
